I have always wondered who the poll was.It can't be Jame's son as, if Tudor researchers are right, James was born around 1760 and a poll is over sixteen. In addition I believe without going to my notes that James Tudor married Joanna Martin in 1781. I don't believe it can be James W who is in Chatham in 1800 as he is listed as between 16 and 26 and the poll would be older. Also James W I believe is the son of John Tedder. In 1790 John is listed with a son 0-16; in 1800 census he does not have a son and James W appears near his father with an age 16 to 26.Have not been too involved in genealogy lately; finished my book, the People's PResident, and am going out on net mediums to try and generate enthusiasm and find a publisher.
