Dear Manuel,
I am very happy to hear from you.I can only trace my Tena lineage as far back as my 3rd Great Grandfather, Ignacio Tena. The Mormons apparently have him in their records as being married in 1789, Mexico (I received this information from their website).I have not been to the Mormon Family History Center, but that is something I would like to do in the near future. There are several of us in the Tena family that are curious to know where our Tena lineage originated. Some say Spain, others say Greece.I have only seen the Tena name in Spain. It would be quite extraordinary to find out that we were related. My cousin Carlos Tena in Mexico can write to you in Spanish.I will forward your post to him so that we can keep in contact.
Regards,
Debbie
