Looking for any information on the descendants or ancestors of Henry Tench b. ca 1730. First wife is unknown (may have possibly been a Elizabeth Brown).Married 2) Sarah Cate Gary, widow of William Gary.

An indenture was recorded 11 Dec 1770 in Prince George County between Henry Tench and John Brown, both of Martin's Brandon Parish in Prince George, and Robert Harrison of the same place and county for 210 acres.Henry is listed in the 1790 and 1799 Land Tax of Prince George owning 105 acres, exactly half of this 210.In the 1790 Personal Tax of Prince George, Henry is listed as head of household, his son John is also listed still residing with him, but accountable for tax as well, which means he would have been 21 yo or over. Son James is listed next door as head of household. In the 1800 Personal Tax of Prince George, Sarah Tench, Henry's second wife, is listed as head of household.Henry apparently died 1799.Children of Henry Tench and Unknown were:
