Browsing this web site, I recalled a time about two years ago when I attended a funeral in Saipan, Tenorio of the Bee-big family. It was my first trip out there and my first encounter with the TenorioÕs of Saipan.Throughout my whole trip there I remember one man, a man whose name you might be familiar with, Deacon Frank Tenorio.I don't know details but I do know that I am related to him, which probably means that you are too. So while I was in Saipan I came across a book of Chamorro family names....basically a book with genealogical data (one of the two aunts I was traveling with brought it along).I don't know if the book I saw was the most recently updated copy, I don't even know how the old the book is or how far back the facts go, although I am assuming most definitely pre-WW2, but it did give pretty good background on my family. I'm pretty sure that if you are able to get a copy of that book it would shed some light on things. (I'm sorry but I wouldn't know exactly where you could get a copy of that book or even if the public library on island has a copy.) I'll be on island for summer break and hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on that book again.
