Oh, ok. I think I can add to yours. Daniel Jenkins may be my husband's 3rd great-grandfather. DNA swab was done and the first 12 markers matched exactly to a group from NC. A person in the group already tested stated that our line appeared to came from a Winburn who was a brother to his Osborn. Their father was William Jenkins. Anyway Winburn had 4 sons; James, Daniel, Nathan and Leggett. These sons left NC. Daniel and Nathan for AL. James and Leggett for GA. Daniel settled in Barbour Co AL. Daniel's son Richardson is my husband's 2nd great-grandfather.(family story) Richardson came to TX about mid-1850's and settled in Brown Co TX. Richardson is bur Jenkins Springs Cemetery near Early-Brownwood TX. My husband's great-grandfather Richard (son of Richardson) has two children buried; one on each side of Richardson and Richard is buried one row down and three graves from Richardson. We had a brickwall big time until the swab DNA. We have no paper trail to connect Richard to Richardson. Richardson to Daniel. Just the DNA swab. I was doing research on Daniel and his family hoping to find information that would help tie up loose ends. And found the following information from a website on Bethesda Cemetery in Barbour Co AL. Jenkins Rachel Terrell b 25 Dec 1816 d 25 Oct 1866. dau of Daniel Jenkins. Near by is a grave with the following information. Sharlott Terrell b 27 Feb 1853 d 29 Oct 1867 dau of Richmond Terrell and Rachel. I posted on the Terrell board and several others. Daniel's wife was named Nancy.
