Don, John Terrill Wayland, Jr. passed away in April, 2000. In his Terrell's genealogy on Rootsweb http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~wayland/http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~wayland/, he list the family of Achilles Lynch Moorman Terrell b. 21 mar 1818 Virginia. Following the 1870 census, my ggfather Larkin Wesley Hunt was living in 1870in the Terrill family. The data of Paul Anderson match with mine. 1870 Loutre Twp., Montgomery Co., MO Series: M653Roll: 610Page: 853 Dwelling 156, Family 153 TERRILL, A. Killis, 52, m, Laborer, born VA TERRILL, Parthena, 55, f, Keeping House, born VA TERRILL, Sarah, 24, f, At Home, born MO TERRILL, Mary, 20, f, At Home, born MO GLOVER, Preston, 21, m, Laborer, born MO HUNT, Larkin, 34, m, Physician, $600, born MO
L.W. Hunt was an orphan. I found him in the 1860 census, 24 years old with his aunt Matrissa Barnes Callaway in Callaway Co. I know he took part in the Civil War. But I don't know why he was in 1870 with the Terrill family. In his site John Waylandinserted the following sentence concerning this family: "Received in 12/97 information about this family from David L. Lott, 149 Lone Oak Rd., Longview, WA 98632-9541. I previously had him on my system only as an A. Terrill m. to Parthena, with no father".He speaks also of a gggdaughter from whom he received informations as well. Don, did you hear about David L. Lott . Perhaps would you be so kind to bring me in touch with him of with the gggdaugher. I want to know if there is a family lore about Dr Larkin Wesley HUNT? Thanks for your help.
