Brian; The Canadian National Archives is sending me a free copy of the Dec 8 1930 newspaper article on one of the lawyers who was handling the case. The article ran in the Montreal Star. If you like I will post the article in full or email it to interested parties.
I have also contacted the World Court and they have assured me the World Court or its predessor never heard the case. What puzzles me is that I have heard no reference to the case being appealed to higher Courts within Canada. If I come across the legal paper trail I'll let you know. The Canadian Government has no record of the Corporation Tessier-Lavigne being registered Federally so I suspect the Corporation was registered in Quebec on a Provincial basis. I have been trying to locate the appropriate Quebec Government department to undertake a Provincial search, hoping it will lead me to where the records are archived. They do exist and are located somewhere.
