Thérèse Tessier was the daughter of François Tessier and Marie Anne Alary. She was born 21 November 1795 in Ste. Anne des Plaines, Quebec. She died 4 February 1847 in Ormstown, Quebec. When she married Jean Monekay (Moneque) at Notre Dame de Montréal her mother's name was entered in the register as "Thérèse Alary". This was probably an error on the part of the priest, and can be explained by the fact that Marie Anne Alary had died in 1807, and her husband, François had re-married to Thérèse Avri in 1810. I think the priest got her step-mother's name mixed with her real mother.
The children I have listed are: Louis, David, George, Joseph, Adelaide and Millie. I suspect that Amelia and Millie may be the same person. I have Millie as the wife of George Boivin.
