Your home page provides information on Marie Louise Tesson and her second husband, Jacob Denhert.
My husband’s records for Marie Louise show that she was the daughter of Joseph Tesson de Honore and Marie Angelique (Raymond) Cachet (National Archives of Quebec, Film MFM-0810). She was born in St. Philippe, La Prairie, Quebec, on July 8, 1767, and baptized on July 9 (ibid). Your records for her godparents agree with ours. Marie Louise married Gaspar Mauck (not Gottlieb Mauck, as he was already married to another woman by this time) on January 2, 1785, in Christ Church Cathedral, Montreal (Reel C-3023, MG 8 G19V22, Marriage Register, Christ Church Anglican Cathedral). Gaspar was born in 1760 (German Archives, Archivschule Marburg/Hessen - Hetrina VI - Hanauische Regimenter) in Grossen-Linden, Hessen, Germany. (German Military Settlers in Canada, Virginia DeMarce, published 1984). Gaspar Mauck was still alive in 1794, as he petitioned the crown for more free land (200 acres) on January 28th of that year.
My husband is still interested in information on the Tesson family, ie., sources etc.
