A s the story goes Elizabeth Titer Married a Thomas Reynolds around 1786 -88 era. they rode horseback on thier honeymoon from Lincoln co nc. ,to see George Teater in Madison Kentucky, where they purchased 100 acres. What this suggests is that one of them knew or was related to George Teater. In the conditions of the times people didnt just ride 100s of miles thru some very dangerous country to by land they never saw from strangers.
