Tew Y-chromosome Haplogroup

I went ahead and had further testing done and the tests show that I'm a member of haplogroup R1b1b2a1b7 or in other words we carry the U-152 marker. This would make us in all likelihood the descendants of the central European Alpine Celts associated with the La Tene culture with a homeland of Switzerland. In short our Tew ancestors would have been part of the first migration of modern humans into western Europe which, some of you may know, probably caused the extinction of the Neanderthal. The last Ice Age would have then pushed our ancestors into the area of modern Spain where they would have been members of the Cro Magnon people responsible for the famous prehistoric cave paintings in Spain and France. After the last ice age our ancestors migrated to the area of the Alps and would have been part of the group that created the knot-work jewelry now often associated with the Irish, Scottish, and Welsh Celts. The central European Celts and what most people consider Celts today are different and distinct groups... in fact the U-152 marker has only been found in Ireland in men with English surnames. Hopefully, some of you will find this interesting enough to consider having your DNA tested to see if you have the same results as me. There is always the possibility of adultery in genealogy so I may not have the same DNA as all the other Tew's.
