A vague possibility might be Charles Augustus Theall, s/o John Thomas Theall (b. 12MAR1869, apparently went by his middle name) and Edith May Burns. John Thomas Theall was the s/o:
Charles Flewelling Theall b. Carleton, Saint John, Saint John Co., NB 23FEB1831, bpt. (s/o Thomas and Elizabeth (Colevill) Theall) St. George’s Anglican Church, Saint John 3FEB1843, d. 9MAR1895, m. 14DEC1853 Sophia Augusta Belyea (b. 9JUN1828, bpt. Westfield Parish, Kings Co., NB 22FEB1829, d. 1874), d/o James and Catherine (Brittain) Belyea.
of the New Brunswick, Canada part of the family. New Brunswickers often are found in Massachusetts. I can find no immediate trace of John T. and his family in NB, so suspect they left the province. His children were:
42J43J1. CHARLES AUGUSTUS THEALL 42J43J2. HENRY CONRAD THEALL 42J43J3. WILLIAM PHILLIP THEALL 42J43J4. RALF WILLARD THEALL
according to the recollections of his niece. Ralf Willard Theall is supposed to have had a son, Sheldon Theall. A Sheldon Theall appears in the SSDI as b. 23NOV1927, d. 15NOV1994, and lived in the areas of Laconia and Gilford, Belknap Co., New Hampshire; which tends to support the notion that they left Canada. This would also suggest that his father was Ralph Theall b. 27SEP1898, d. FEB1975; who lived in the same localities. If this family seems significant, I can trace the line back a few more generations on the Theall side. It is, however, the Flewelling side with which I am most concerned.
