I post this as a point of interest for those that might be related. While looking for someone else in the 1930 NJ Census, I came across this unrelated fellow, Arnold THERRIEN, living as a boarder with the family of Roy and Gertrude GIDDIS in Somerset or Warren counties. He was listed as a laborer on a poultry farm.He was 21 yrs old and he was born in Vermont as were his parents. His parents are unknown to me.This was viewed on the Ancestry.com website. The census page resolution was very poor so I had to use the Basic viewer not the Advanced viewer. Also living on the GIDDIS farm, was a servant, age 23. This young woman was born in Pennsylvania, but her parents were from Czechoslovakia. Young Arnold may have eventually married the young woman, so if one sees a connection go to the appropriate Ancestry.com 1930 Census for New Jersey.Good luck.
