Hi,my name is Kim & I'm researching my Thomas line from Michigan. The info I have so far is this:

Head of household: Joseph Thomas-b abt 1806, NY Lucy Thomas (wife) b abt 1815, Rhode Island
Children: 1.Charles Thomas, b abt 1831 in NY 2.Elizabeth Thomas, b abt 1833 in NY 3.Stephen B. Thomas, b abt 1834 in NY 4.Lucy A. Thomas, b abt 1836 in NY 5.Joseph P. Thomas b abt 1838 in NY 6.David H. Thomas, b abt 1842 in NY* my ancestor-I have quite a bit of info on him. 7.Nathan Thomas, b abt 1845 in MI 8.Emily Thomas b abt 1850 in MI 9.George Thomas b abt 1849 in MI
From the 1870 United States Census: Charles Thomas m Susan Thomas in MI.They had the following children:
1.Clarissa Thomas, b abt 1853 in MI 2.Ellen Thomas, b abt 1854 in MI 3.Emily Thomas, b abt 1856 in MI 4.John Thomas, b abt 1857 in MI 5.George Thomas, b abt 1857 in MIJohn & George Thomas were twins. 6.William Thomas b abt 1859 in MI 7.Evaline Thomas, b abt 1861 in MI 8.Edward Thomas, b abt 1864 in MI 9.Fredrick Thomas, b abt 1866 in MI
Nathan Leroy Thomas m. Adella Rhoda Powers on 6 Nov 1869 in Grand Rapids, Kent CO, MI. They had no children from what I have found so far.
Several children of Joseph Thomas migrated to Kent County, MI, and the ones I know for sure, according to several census reports, are Nathan Leroy Thomas, and his wife, Adella.Another is Charles Thomas and his wife, Susan, and my ancestor, David Henry Thomas and his wife Lydia Minerva Lovejoy. I know there are more siblings that moved to Grand Rapids, but I have not been able to find any.The daughters of Joseph Thomas I don't have anything about them at all. One of the sons, Stephen, is one I haven't been able to find anything at all on him either.I'm thinking he may have gone to Canada, just guessing at this point.
I'd like to exchange info with distant cousins who are descended from this Thomas family. If anyone has any info, I'd be grateful!
