Hello. The 1880 Fayette, AL census shows Turner THREATT (60 NC), wife Minerva, a son in his thirties and two stepsons: Thomas C. NUNN and Samuel NUNN ages 21 and 12 respectively. The Thomas Collie NUNN in this family group is my g-grandfather. His mother, Minerva THREATT was Minerva ANTHONY of Jackson, GA. Minerva married Augustus L. NUNN in 1854 and was widowed by the cruelties of war sometime in the 1860s. I am trying to piece together what happened to Augustus (AOT service records are contradictory) by tracing Minervas activities. 1870 census shows her with additional children who would have been conceived after putative death of Augustus. She is surrounded by her ANTHONY kin in Fayette. She evidently married Turner THREATT in 1872 or 1879. Anyone know what happened to this family after record of 1880 census?
