Seeking info re: Fred Lincoln Borton, b.2/8/1865(USA) d.12-07-1943 St. Joseph, MI [real name may be Tierney, Turney, Furney] he was raised by Bortons in Berrien County, MI (near Coloma/Eau Claire) since @1867 when his mother took his two older siblings and went to search for her husband (Fred's father)who was reported to have been lost in the Civil War. Fred used his 'real' surname when he marriedChristina Franz but document is smudged.
