Tietsort or Teetshorn?
My daughter married a "Teetshorn" from Iowa almost two years ago, and I have been trying to find the origin of that name.My son-in-law and his family don't seem terribly interested, but I am!

The other day my son-in-law mentioned that he thought he original name might have been Tietsort, and then it was changed to Teetshorn (at Ellis Island, perhaps?).
If you can shed any light on these, I would be so grateful.Tietsort seems to be the closest thing to Teetshorn.
