Thanks to Ancestry.com for having the free Military records on-line until June 6th.....I may have found my gr-grandfather!
I am now looking for information reguarding a:
Joseph Tilghman Schlegel. On June 02, 1917, his WWI Draft Registration Card from Northampton Co. PA. states that he was born in South Whitehall, PA. on Nov. 20th, 1888, that he worked for the Bingen Brick Company and that he was married with 4 children. He is listed as tall, slender, gray eyes, full head of light brown colored hair.
It lists his nationallity as Sancasion (what ever that is?)
I have a death certificate for a Joseph SCHLEGEL that states that he died in 1933. (The death certificate tells me nothing else!) Any help on this man is greatly appreciated! Especally looking for his parents & siblings...THANKS!
