Another follow up Sallie- When I posted the previous message the formatting got lost so hope you can figure out that I was putting l860 and l870 census together! Also, wanted to call your attention to the following old posting on the internet that I found by googling..in the smith county genealogy archived postings....maybe the person below has something..I will see if I can locate the email somehow on the posting..and you may wish to go to smith county arhived postings to see this ..as he may have posted other items: Michael Hughes Wed Feb 12 12:32:04 1997 I am looking for information concerning the ROBINSON family in Dekalb county (possibly Smith county also). Specifically, Norman Rossirus ROBINSON (b. Mar 9, 1876), Schuyler Colfax ROBINSON (b. Nov 18, 1874). Both married into the James Franklin TURNER (b. May 22, 1845) family. Their parents were Dr. Christopher Columbus ROBINSON and Ava Elizabeth TILLEY or Mary TILLERY (have not been able to confirm mother). Both Schuyler and Christopher were medical doctors.
NOTE that he says maybe cc 's wife was also known as a Mary? which is interesting.. Mary is closer to Margaret..and there was a mary in the house..
