Olsa Olia (Olciota, Olia, Osa) is my great-grandmother. Her siblings include Mathias, Vige (or Virgil), Comodore, and supposedly a sister named "Morning Star (or Nora supposedly the shortened name of cherokee words, Nora died very young). Olia married Bart Bowman and had Hutson, Harley, Cambel (CR), Mattie Starry, Pernora Yerikore (or Nora - named after Olia's sister who died). Bart and Olia moved to Oklahoma before 1890 - Muskogee County, Webber Falls, Vann Twnship. Her father and brothers also moved and appear on Oklahoma census's but the spelling is slaughtered so they are hard to find. Olia and Mattie (who married Tony Caskey and had daughter Helen)appear on the 1930 Shawnee County, Kansas census.Olia and Nora both died in Topeka. Nora married General Dewey Wilder and had 4 children; Jimmie (female sho had son Richard of Topeka), Wilson Barton Wilder(my father who married Mary Lee DeLong), Goldie, and Louie. Dewey was married many times but Nora was his first wife. Harley had son, Harley Jr, I believe Cambel did not have children. Bart's mother's name was Martha - his Kansas death certificate says Martha Splitnose of Calhoun, GA. I was told by family members that Nora and Cambel attended the annual pow-wows in Oklahoma until he died. Were any rolls or attendance records dept?Is there any way to confirm this?
