Barry,Last night I told you Charles was buried at Mount Harmony at Strawberry Plains Pky.Actually it is on Racoon Valley Rd. north of Knoxville in Heiskell.Robert took us up there too.He sure was helpful.I'm sure we have a lot to do to tie this up but with some elbow grease it may be done.It is the 1860 Census where I found Alfred in Jefferson County.Je-28-342 whatever that means.Could be rolls and page number.Lists Alfred as 47, Sarah as 25 but it must have been 45, Mary J. 25, Robert G. 18, Martha A. 16, John 13, James 10, Sarah M.E. 8, Barthena C. 6, William L. 3.Help you any? That is all I have for tonight.I would love that scan of the land.Jeremiah had over 1500 acres of land in Knoxville. He had land dealings with Charles, Robert, William and Joshua.James got land from Robert and then seems to have sold it to Joshua.Samuel got land at the same time in the same area as Jeremiah but he did not have any land dealings with Jeremiah or any of the men I mentioned.I look forward to getting that scan. Thank you.Carol T.
