Sarah Tinney is listed in the census record of Calhoun County, AL (looks like Corn Grove P. O.) in 1860.She is head of household, and her children are :Emma 19, Susan 18, Mary 15, and Adam P. (I think the "P" stands for Pascel) 12.Right above Sarah looks like a "Nicaberry (or Nicoberry) Tinney (hard to read, but could be Tinney) 25, head of household. And above Nicaberry a notch or two is Jesse Ellis and his family and Solomon/Matilda Jane Drennan and his family. This Sarah is the mother of Mary, who married John Benjamin Ellis, I'm 99% sure.John Benjamin is listed in his family (Solomon/Matilda Jane Drennan Ellis) just above the Tinneys. Sarah says she's born in SC.That would be about 1815 probably in Chester or Abbeville. Is there anybody else that can go further with this? Or have any ideas?
