There is a photo of a document 11 October 1898 concerning William Tipple who died in 1861 leaving his property to his wife Rebecca and then to his sons Horace, David and Walter (but Walter had died during his lifetime). Rebecca Tipple died in 1891. http://www.familychest.co.uk/FamilyChestDocs/documents/0610027.htmhttp://www.familychest.co.uk/FamilyChestDocs/documents/0610027.htm
The property left by William Tipple consists of about 33 acres of land abutting on the highway from Diss to Kenninghall. A mortgage on this property made during the lifetime of William Tipple is still outstanding and there is another mortgage on it for £300 since made by Horace Tipple.
Horace Tipple now appears to be unable to repay the loans and is assigning his share of the property to David Tipple. In return, David Tipple assumes responsibility for all the debts.
