I was fortunate in finding my Mother & grandmother's ship passenger list at the National Archives in Laguna Niguel, CA.I found that their actual port of entry was Galvaston, TX.I also found them in the Kansas 1910 census. My sister & I were so excited!!! I have a map of Austria Hungry in 1914 which was a huge Country. It took in the Countries which by 1960 were most of Yugoslavia, Rumania, Austria, Chechoslovakia,Hungary and a portion of Russia & Poland. My grandmother whose name was Rosalia (Ziebart) Tisch came across by foot and by train on wooden benches from Poland/Russia in 1907 with three small children and kept saying that they came across Austria Hungry into Germany. Until I saw this map I did not understand that what she said was accurate because that Country did actually take in all of the area previously stated. My scanner is not working but I would be glad to mail you a copy of the map if you provide me with your mailing address. The title of the map is AUSTRIA-HUNGARY FROM ONE EMPIRE TO MANY NATIONS.
