My husband is John Nicholas Tolerton, born, Lisburn 1941 to James Hobson Toleton and Winnifred Blundell Dunn.James had brothers named Richard, Charles, Walker, Robert, sisters Anna and Mary.James birthdate November 1901.Grandparents names unknown.Father James born in Lisburn, Quaker (and paradoxically Irish boxing champion).Other brother (to Nicholas)living in Canada; remaining offspring of Hobson/Tolerton still living in Lisburn NI and still Quaker.Very interested in following back family history.

Do Tolertons have a crest?

Were James and Frances Catholic living in Dublin - not many Quakers there....
