Parents: C.J.T. Toole, a Methodist minister, b. 1815, Lexington, KY; died Vernon, IL, 1890. He was married 3 times: son by first wife: George W, Tolle, Kansas; by second wife: Kate & Lovey, of Topeka, KS, His third wife, Mary Brown, was born 1834 in Macoupin County, IL, & lived in Riley, KS. Four children: May (Mrs. I.H. Wilton), Arthur, Fay (Mrs. Henry Oglesby); Emily (wife of Rev. C.H. Gerkin, Riley, KS).
Arthur was educated in Vernon & Patoka, IL. He was a telegrapher. In 1900, he located to Fargo, ND, and 1 March 1901, to Forsyth, MT; 1907 to Montpelier, ID, 1909 to Boise ID; 1911, Anaconda, MT; 1913, Wallace, ID; 1915, Kansas City, MO; returned to Billings, MT, 1816, and 1919 to Butte, MT.
On 3 Jul 1906, Oxford, WI, Arthur married Miss Willie M. Smith, daughter of George B. and Hannah (Williams) Smith.
