Hannah TOLLISON, aged 83, born South Carolina, was in the 1850 Chambers Co census with Eli (b 1815-1820 SC) & Amy TOLLISON (b 1812-1818 SC), both probably Hannah’s grandchildren. In the 1860 census, Hannah is still with Eli & Amy & is aged 97, born SC.
According to land grants, the family was in Chambers Co., AL by 1835. The 1840 Chambers Co. census shows a David According to the 1880 Chambers Co,. SC, census, Eli & Amy were siblings rather than husband & wife.
A daughter of Hannah was probably Nancy TOLLE(R)SON who married 15 May 1814 to Asahel COGGINS in Chester Co., SC. This COGGINS family moved to Georgia about 1818, then also to Chambers Co., AL, by 1833.
