Rachel, I think that PARKER is the son of ROBERT S TOMME. I have Robert married to Elizabeth ?. Based on the 1880 Carroll Co....Town of Carrollton & Bowden census information which I found. Robert was listed with wife Elizabeth and 3 boys...Parker, Asbury (which could Marshall Asbury) and Charles. The ages of the boys in the census would have been about 8,6 and 4. .Sarah E. Tomme may his wife Elizabeth. I am hoping that this is the same Parker Tomme that you are inquiring about.I have been trying to locate some of the descendents of ROBERT S TOMME. He was a brother to my ancestor Richard Avery Tomme/Tommie. Their parents were JAMES B TOMME and ELIZA(BETH) AVERY/AVERA. JAMES B TOMME owned a blacksmith shop in Bowden. Richard, Robert and another brother William were also blacksmiths. James B Tomme died and his wife Elizabeth re married to a man named John or James Curry. She had about three more children by him. She died while most of the children were still young. I have a copy of her will and the estate records for James B. You will find Robert, Richard and William listed under the last name of Curry on, I believe it is the 1850 census. Please contact me if you think this may be your family.
