From church records microfilmed by the the Mormons and available at one of their Family History Centers, I have collected the following information that I believe you're looking for:
Gerhard Heinrich Toensing, born 16 Sep 1833 to Johann Friedrich T. and Maria Hedwig Bals-Kuhlmann, married 1861 to Sabine Johanna Louise Thoerner in Venne (any children they may have been born there.)Johann Friedrich T. was born 20 or 30 Nov 1803 to Jost Heinrich T. and Anna Maria Benschen, married first 7 Sep 1830 to Maria Clara Reipstock, and second 3 Jan 1832 to M. H. Bals-Kuhlmann.Jost Heinrich T. was born about 1773-1776 to Johann Freidrich T. and Maria Elsabein Johann-Ahrens, was married to Anna Maria Elsabein Benschen and I believe second 6 Jun 1813 to Catherine Gertrud Franz. He may be the same Johann Hein. T. who died 9 May 1853.These records come from the parish of Lintorf which includes Wimmer where the Toensings lived. My own Toensing ancestors come from the nearby parish of Barkhausen, and are probably distantly related. This area is in the state of Hannover, east of the city of Osnabruck.
I have more info about siblings and wife's parents and dates.
