My g grandmother was Estelle?( maybe Garnett), died 1918? and g grandfather was James Marion Tooley, died 1935?.They were supposed to have been born in KY somewhere. My aunt says he was born in Monroe County but there is a question about everything. He evidently had another son named Donald Tooley who was supposed to have lived in Oakland City, IN also. My grandfather was Oscar William Tooley who ended up in North Venice, IL where he raised his children. Some of the other children were Anna, Margaret, Oliver.I found them listed in the 1900 Gibson County census. But she was listed as Stella. His Father's name was James (William?) Tooley supposd to have been from KY also. His wife was Stella. Now I have found a death record on a Stella (Gabert) Tooley in Oakland City, IN died in 1918.Which was my g grandmother I think and she was married to a James Tooley.Have also found a James Polk Tooley married to Stella. But everyone I have talked to in my which there is only my dad and aunt left have told me that my g grandfather's name was James Marion Tooley. Can't find any one by that name in Oakland City, IN.any information you have would be helpful.I am thinking they may have came from below Evansville, IN or maybe western Kentucky. My g grandmother's death record shows she was born in Kentucky to Peter Gabert and Melissa Russell
