I am attempting to flesh out my wife's family tree, and one branch happens to be Tottles. Known information related to her tree is:
Mary Anne Tottle (b. 1854, Haggerstone, Middlesex, England - d. ??, England) married Edmond (or Edward) Arnell (b. 1855, Poplar, Middlesex, England - d ?, ? England) in Sept 1875.
Their children were: Rosina, Jesse Frederick (my wife's ancestor, 1882 - 1927), Percy, Florence, Arthur, John, and William (all Arnells)
I lack any further information regarding Edmond (or Edward) Arnell (esp. parentage), but have the following regarding Mary Anne Tottle:
Her parents were John Tottle (b. 1 Mar 1816, Bridgewater, Somerset, England - d. 1878, Westham, London, England) and Mary Ann Hillam (b. 1825, Gravesend, Kent, England - d. 1878, West Ham, London, England)... married 1851, resided Bromley St Leonard, London, England in 1871 per census). Her siblings were Rosina (b. 1852), John (b. 1859) and Clara (1860 - 1866).
John Tottle's father *may have been* Charles Tottle, born around 1800. I have seen a Charles Tottle, born 1800, here in the forum, but am not sure that he is "our" Charles Tottle, or even if "a" Charles Tottle belongs in the tree.
Mary Ann's parents were Thomas Hillam and Mary ??.
Any additional information that anyone might have would be greatly appreciated.
