Alexander Tough
Alexander Tough b. abt. 1770 married Mary Watt 29 November 1800.They were married in Aberdeen.Children found to date:Peter Tough married Ann Keith; Margaret Tough married James Craigmyle; Mary Tough married a Alexander Delgarno.Alexander died in April 1841 and left quite an extensive estate. Neither Peter nor a possible brother, James, inherited anything. A son of Margaret Tough Craigmyle, Alexander, and a daughter Ann Tough who was Alexander's niece through brother James, would inherit after the death of Mary Watt.If these two were deceased and there were no more children, grandchildren then the estate would go to the Poor Hospital for Boys and the Poor Hospital for Girls.
Alexander had at least one brother, James who was a ropemaker when he married Agnes Cruikshank in Aberdeen.
