George Brydon and Jennie (Turville) Brydon, possibly from Hamilton or elsewhere in Ontario, Canada, had a son Richard Nov 13, 1945, outside Yarmouth, NS, Canada. They had to give him up for adoption, most likely because they were too young to care for the child properly. They were probably born about 1927 or 1928. George's parents signed the consent papers for the adoption procedure.
George may have been in the armed forces at the time, and may have trained or spent time in the Riverview (Moncton), NB area before being posted in Yarmouth. The doctor who helped with the birth was probably Dr. Sutherland.
I am Richard Brydon. I do not want to upset or distrurb my birth parents, but would like to know if I have any brothers or sisters, and if there are any medical problems in the family that I should know about. I have the adoption documents, but will not contact them directly if they do not wish this. I am 56 now, and both my adoptive parents have been dead for many years. I was raised very well as an only child.
I am posting here since there is no TURVILLE forum yet. I notice in the Canadian phone listings there are onyl 19 TURVILLE spellings, with 11 in Ontario and 8 in Alberta.
