From "Prince William County Virginia Court Minutes 1833 - 1838 "Five Years at the Brentsville Court"" by Ronald Ray Turner, I found the following information. There are a number of entrys regardinng Trueman Townshend's estate - apparently complicated to close. If you have trouble finding this resource, write me and I'll send more notes. I presume Margaret is sister to James D. Tennille but I don't find her in the group sheets.
A William Sexsmith is listed as a Minister who served the Linthicum Heights United Methodist Church in Linthicum Heights - also he served the Methodist church in Pocomoke, Md.He shows up in the Linthicum genealogy but I am not sure he is the gentleman we want. Would you please share your information on Mr. Sexsmith and Lucinda's descendents. This posting belongs on the Townshend forum. The misspelling of the name causes confusion. The Southern Maryland Townshends jave retained the "h" and the Easterm Shore Townsends have not. There is great confusion of the name Tennil, Tannel, Tinell etc. I am a direct descendent of Johanna Townshend and Zadock Robinson.I would love to hear from you.
