Walter Fryer and Margaret Fielding Northumberland,Virginia 1666
Walter Fryerand wife Margaret (Fielding) appear in 1666 court record at Northumberland ,Virginia. Margaret was the sister of Richard Fielding, Bristol merchant, and part owner of a ship called Phenix he owned with his brothers from Gloucester. Richard Fielding left a will in 1667 which I encourage you to read. It can be seen by going to the Fielding forum and then read message number 150 and also 152 where his brother Edward's will can be read. Edward Fielding had a court case with John Buxton at Northumberland ,Virginia. Walter Fryer in capacity with his brother in laws shipping ventures could have criss crossed the Atlantic more than once. If John Treale of Rappahannock 1662 was involved in a similar venture it could explain the two John Trayle marriages at Gloucestershire.
