Henry Hanslap purchased the rights to "servant" John Treell in 1682 at Ann Arundel Maryland. Henry Hanslap's wife Elizabeth left a will after Henry had died which was witnessed by Edward Holmes and his wife Mary. A research into Edward Holmes and wife Mary proved very interesting. When Thomas Beall gifted his children in transactions at P.G. County, all the transactions were witnessed by Archibald Edmonston and his wife Jane and Edward Holmes and his wife Mary. The children of Edward Holmes and Mary intermarried with the Brashears and Pottengers.
