Small World is right! Avis is my Grandmother Isoline's sister. There were 14 of them and they are all gone now.I know all of Avis' children well. John passed some years back and we were all sad for the family. Fern has had reunions at her shore home in Pasadena and I went to a couple of them. Last time I saw Donald was at his sister Grace's funeral.
The Kohlhoff/Trapp family..... William Kohlhoff married Adeline Trapp. They had a son, William, Jr. who died in the late 1950's. His wife Cass still lives on Haubert Street in Locust Point.Bill, Jr. and Cas had a daughter named Karen who lives at 1605 Jackson Street. I think she has a brother who still lives in the Trapp family house and I know there is a relative who still lives in the Kohlhoffhouse on Fort Avenue.
I have some info about where they all lived based on Census records.
William Kohlhoff had two brothers: Herman (owned a tavern on Light & Heath Street) and Louis (my Grandfather) who died at the age of 19. There were also sisters....Edna, Minnie, Louise, Edna & Ethel.
Hope this confusesyou, too! (lol) Keep in touch, love to hear from relatives (distant or not)!
