Thought I would add a little bit of info to what you already have, although I cannot give you Rebecca's maiden name. Old Rappahannock County Deeds and Wills 1677-1682 A prenup agreement between John Rice of Virginia, Merchant and Rebecca Travers of the County of Rappannock, Widow is dated November 14, 1679, but not recorded until 1680. It states whereas there is a marriage by Gods grace intended to be solemnized between the said John and Rebecca.
Old Rappahannock County Deed Book 1686-88 An indenture made 23 December 1686 between John Rice of Parish of Farnham in the County Rappahannock, Merchant and Rececca his wife of the one part and Samuell Bayley. This indenture is said to have a partial wax seal of the County Kerry, Ireland Rices, but I have been unable to view it.
Will of John Rice proved October 6, 1693.Is said to have been recorded in Will Book I of Richmond County which is no longer extant, but there is a copy of the will in the Landon Carter Papers housed at the Alderman Library at the University of VA.The will makes no mention of Rebecca, so I assume she is dead by then.It does mention his son in law (stepson) Samuel Travers and his wife Francis and also his son in law (stepson) Rawleigh Travers.
