From his death certificate, John Wesley Trawick was born in Evergreen, AL Sept 17, 1863 and died Sept 30, 1940 in Fairhope, AL. He was buried in the Stapleton (Baldwin County, AL). His wife was Mary Bolden; his parents unknown (although the data was given by his son).
In the 1900 census he was listed as b. AL, both parents GA; with wife Mary b. AL as was both her parents; son John Newton b. 1892 AL and dau Stella b. 1894 FL. Next door was George Newton with wife Isabell (b. 1886 AL), and mother-in-law Lou Trawick, b. 1855 GA. In 1910, John was still in Santa Rosa Co. with his family and mother Louisa Trawick. I have not been able to find Louisa's family in the 1870-80 censuses; however a Louiza Trawick of the right age was listed in Conecuh County in 1870 as a laborer living with another family, no children listed.
Thus John W. Trawick was b. 1863 in Conecuh County, AL; his mother was Louisa and he had a sister Isabell. I would appreciate any help in identifying John's parents.
