Dianna: I am not really an expert on the Traylor family but here are a few facts. In the Bath County census 1850 you can find: Traylor, Barnebus 25 b. Ky Adeline, 22 b Ky ( her last name was Adams) Thomas, 2/12 b KY
That is my line and they will go from there to Bracken County KY and then over to Pendleton Co KY. Thomas will die before the 1860 census.
Nicholas Traylor 27, b KY (all in this family b. in KY) Eufalia, Enfield (looks like Enfield) 22 Mary F, 6 Cordelia, 4 Elizabeth, 2 ______, 4/12
Then in the home of Margaret Sorrell, 51 you can find along with a lot of other Sorrell kids: Reuben Traylor, 80 b. Mecklenburg VA Susannah, 85 also born in mecklenburg
Another family: John Traylor, 60 b SC Sarah, 50 b SC Rebecca, 35 Nathan Razor, 14 Sarah Razor, 11
I assume that Nathan and Sarah are grandchildren of John. My line will then go from Barnebus to mary Elizabaeth b 1862 in Bracken KY and m. Henry Ducker in Pendleton KY.
The marriage for Cary Traylor and Elizabeth Thompson is in Mecklenburg CO VA on 7 Nov 1786.Apparently the family went to Spartanburg SC as you can see in some of the posts on here. pamela
