Catherine Threiler? Is this Traylor? Taylor? of Richland Co. Illinois
In my family history, I discovered a Taylor, who married a Heindselman, then I found similiar research online (with the same family) that listed it as Treiler. If this name was german... wouldn't it be pronounced Traylor? or Trailer?
Can anyone help me on this?
Here's the info I found (which matches up previous research I have made where I found "Taylor")
"Margaret Elizabeth Graves was born 4 June 1848 in Russell Co., KY, died 3 Feb. 1915 in Noble Twp., Richland Co., IL, and was buried 5 Feb. 1915 in Haven Hill, Olney, Richland Co., IL. She married Caleb Heindselman, Jr., son of Caleb Heindselman and Catherine THREILER, on 7 Nov. 1867 in Richland Co. He was born 11 Dec. 1838 in Canton, Stark Co., OH, died 21 Sept. 1924 in Richland Co., IL, and was also buried in Haven Hill. Their children were born in Richland Co., IL."
(My relative is the brother to this Caleb Jr. and son to Caleb Sr. who married the Threiler --> Jacob Heindselman)
