Kerrie - I have been working on a line of the PROSSER family and found Potter PROSSER married to Eliz. (Elizabeth) TREAT.She was said to have been born March 24, 1799 West Stockbridge, Mass. (located in "Mass, 1620 - 1930 Local and Family Histories; Descendants of Elder John Strong") From other sources it was stated she was born Colchester, Conn. and also b. March 27, 1798 in Colchester, Conn

Another source I located which does conflict with Strong Hist. is:The Hamlin Family, Pub. Exira, Iowa.1902.Author:Lyman S. Shreeve; Call No. CS71.H223.I guess you could call it - two differing points of view !
The TREAT & STRONG lineages are published - it's the PROSSER lineage which has been so difficult.
