I had a search carried out years ago and they came up with the similar as Phillip.
Arms: Argent a beehive with bees volant proper
Crest: A Bee
Motto: 'Feret ad astra virtus' Virtue will bear us to the skies.
The surname Treweek is Cornish. The dictionary of Surnames (Basil Cottle) states that Treweek is the name of a place in Cornwall meaning 'place in the creek'. Names begining with 'Tre' are very common in Cornwall and may derive from the Old English term 'treow' and middle English terms 'trew, trow' meaning tree from a residence near some prominent tree. The Anglo Saxon term 'wic' meant an abode. This is recorded as 'wike' in 1327 and 'week' in 1759. The name Treweek may be a compound of Tre and week and of local origin meaning that the bearer once lived or owned land 'at an abode near a prominent tree' or 'a place in the creek'.
