Can anyone help me find biographical (as well as genealogical information) about Lawrence Tribble, the author of a poem titled "Awake" or "Awaken" (which begins: "One man awake awakens another . . ."), dated variously 1751, 1770, or late Eighteenth Century). I would like to find a specific source for the poem; e.g., was it published in a book, a newspaper, his personal journal, passed on by word of mouth, etc. I.e., where did people get the ideas that the poem came from the time period mentioned and/or that it was (probably) associated with "the Great Awakening"?
