The last time I saw you was when my Dad passed. I was looking up our paternal Great Grandmother when I came upon this post. I thought I would give you a little new info here. I met our Great Grandfather Charles Henry Trim (had a total of 17 children, after his first wife Rosetta nee Merrick passed away he remarried)back in 78, he was living in or near Pottsdam (this I know as I remember the name reminded me of the movie Its a Wonderful Life) at the time and married to a woman named Viola with whom he had I think 10 children. The youngest at the time was 17 and it did feel kind of freaky meeting my Great Uncle who was younger than I. He was about 95 at the time and passed about a month or two later. After our Grandfather William A. Trim Sr. passed Sept 9, 1980. Wilbur Trimm died either the same year or early in the year after that. I know Clifton died sometime after Wilbur not sure when that was, but they both signed the funeral guest book for William Sr. The other aunt your Dad couldn't remember was Loretta, I met her and Nora. I have a lot of letters here there is one from Nora Rose and Loretta.. I've never heard of Grandpa any of Dads sisters speak of a Bertha or an Eva. But I will find out. Oh and a little side bar, only because in my family just myself and Grandpa spelled their name with one M. So when I met Great Grandpa Charles I asked him how many M's are in our name. He said " 1 everyone else is just trying to be fancy! " LOL he also said we were Scot.
