WICHITA -- Gerald L. Trimmell, 67, died Tuesday (March 19, 2002) at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Wichita.
He was born Feb. 7, 1935, to Arthur and Florence G. (Trimmell) Davidson in Wichita. They preceded him in death.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Local Union of the Ironworkers.
Survivors include: two sons, Michael Trimmell of Yadkinville, N.C., and Jesse Trimmell of Wichita; two daughters, Terri Frazier of Andover and Jerri Snyder of Wichita; two brothers, Buddy Davidson of Haysville and Robert Davidson of Arkansas City; five sisters, Peggy Allen of Newton, Judy Branine of Wichita, Shirley Hunter of Guthrie, Okla., and Maxine Freel and Sandra Davidson, both of Arkansas City; a stepdaughter, Connie Staley of Independence; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation will be until 9 p.m. today and from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at Petersen Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Greenwood Cemetery with the Rev. Loren Hickerson of First United Church of Christ officiating.
Memorials have been established with Veterans Administration Medical Center in care of the funeral home.
