Hi, To update my earlier info, Jonathan Trippett had moved to Blount, TN before the 1801 Tax List and was living next to future son in law William Harris. They were on Crooked Creek near Blacks Blockhouse and in the Militia District of Capt. James McGinley who was born in PA and from the Timberridge area of Virginia.Jonathan has a close business and personal relationship with the Gen. Sam Houston and his uncles who are also in the same district and conducts several land transactions with them. The relationship may be from the Paxtons. There also seems.to be a Cunningham tie.I would really appreciate any assistance. Hi granddaughter named her son for Jonathan but his headstone spells Jonathan Tribbet Ball.
Thanks, Terese
