Not my family, just posting in case it helps some Truett researcher!
Abstracted from Greene county Deed Book AA page 633
dated 13 Jan 1803 William Hightower sells 100 acres of land to John Bustin, both men are of Greene county Georgia the land is bounded by the land of John Lett, Thomas B Wyatt, Russel Talley, and Elijah Truett's Spring Witness: Richard Knowles
John Lett owned 100-150 acres of land on Shoulderbone creek in Greene county in 1799 and some of his Lett relatives also lived along the same watercourse, as did people named Kinman, Hackney Walker, William Hogg, Benjamin Boice, Robert GLournoy, John Canbel, John Map, Kimbro (Kimbrough)...some of the land had originally been surveyed for a man named Harper (probably Samuel Harper who lived in Wilkes county at the time of this deed because of county boundary changes).
My interest in this is the LETT family, and I would welcome any information about them or their collateral relatives.
