Troy, I've tried several times to reach you by email. I haven't been successful.
I was just at Cub Run, KY this week, doing research with family members. There were all kinds of records and I think I've finally got enough, as I've been able to find more records, as I've more information. Amazing what a date or a correct name does for researching.
I've found a bit more on Joe Trulock and wanted to ask if you know anything more.
The book, "Beyond the Crossroads" did not have the right Eliza Jane in it. Eliza Jane Taylor never married anyone, except for my gggrandfather, David Marion Bratcher. But their daughter who was 9 day's old, when her mother Eliza died, was also named Eliza Jane.
I found her living with her father and stepmother, Amanda Boone LaRue Bratcher, in the 1870 census. But for the most part she lived with her grandmother Mahala-Richardson Taylor. She married Dee Reams (not Redford) on June 16, 1878 (she was 14 yrs old). They had two children named Nancy Jane and Mary Lee, who both married Bradley men, Van and Frank. According to the 1900 Edmonson Co, Ky Census, she married Joseph Trulock 15 years prior and has had 2 more children by him, William E (family called him Dick) and Manda F (her real name is Mandifa Della Musgro-named after a Civil War officer, that her father was under during the war). They both married Meredith's...Ida and Warren.
Do you know anymore on this research. I think I'm about to stick in my folder and leave it for someone else to deal with. haha! I'm trying to find Dee Reams, now. Surely...
I hope you get this! Would you let me know?
