BOSSIER CITY, LA - Funeral services for Deborah Luve Tubbs Baker, 49, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 25, 2009 at the Hill Crest Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Uriah Oxford officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2009 at the Hill Crest Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park.
Ms. Baker entered into rest September 21, 2009 at her home in Bossier City. Ms. Baker was employed by Boomtown Casino, as a Cocktail Waitress. She was born September 22, 1959 in Presque Isle, Maine and she has been a resident of Bossier City, LA; for thirty-three years.
Survivors include her parents, Thurman and Eleanor Tubbs; son, Edward Baker and wife Stephanie; daughter, Alicia Toms, all of Bossier City, LA; two sisters, Susan Tong and husband Mike of Haughton, LA; Renee Bamburg and husband Eugene of Blanchard, LA; three grandchildren, Marissa Toms, Madison Baker, and Trenton Baker, also left to cherish her memories are numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. Also a special friend Miles Baker.
